Student Life
At the Academy we know that experiences outside the classroom are instrumental to enhancing growth. It’s where friendships happen, connections with mentors are formed and leadership is fostered. That’s why we offer more than 30 different athletic teams and extracurricular activities along with retreats and travel opportunities.
Through events such as annual retreats at a resort in the Wisconsin Dells, Chanukah, Purim and Lag B’Omer celebrations, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut programs, Academy students and staff build a close-knit community, solidified by their shared experiences and memories.
Activities at the Academy including debate team, National Honor Society, the annual girls’ play and student council present leadership opportunities while providing students with a forum to develop their talents and interests. Despite the Academy’s small student body, students have endless extracurricular opportunities. Try out for the school play, pick up an instrument for the first time in band or join the softball team with little or no experience. Those who don’t find the club that suits their needs, create their own. Click here to check out our clubs.
